Domingo Sánchez, III is a career public employee with approximately 30 years of experience working in government and for non-profit organizations. He has provided administrative support and counsel to various boards, directors and administrators in the areas of policy, operations, budget and finance, with a particular focus on organizations in financial distress or engaged in startup activities.
Domingo received his Associate of Science degree in Electronic Technology from New Mexico Highlands University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University and attended the College of Santa Fe to complete courses in Business Administration and Accounting.
Domingo’s professional background includes self-employment as owner and chief consultant of Mpower Administrative Consultants; serving as Vice President for Finance and Administration for Northern New Mexico College, Deputy Secretary of the New Mexico Department of Transportation, Vice President for Finance and Administration at New Mexico Highlands University; Executive Director of New Mexico Association of Counties; Director of Presbyterian Medical Services, North Central System; County Manager for the County of Santa Fe; Executive Director of the New Mexico State Transportation Authority; Director of the New Mexico Administrative Office of District Attorneys; Executive Budget Analyst for the State Budget Division of the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration; and as an Electrical Engineer for the New Mexico Public Service Commission and the Salt River Project in Phoenix, Arizona.
